New Year's Eve at the Chancellor Hotel

Happy New Year!

We rung in the new year with new rooms, great food, bubbly champagne and a lots of decorations.
New Year's Eve started out as a beautiful clear day with lots of people on the streets. Union Square was alive with the end of the year spirit.

Here is a view from the hotel looking down Powell Street. Union Square is off to the left and you can see the Christmas Tree at the edge of the picture. The tree is left up until after the new year now. The front desk was decorated and the guys were ready to check in the revelers. We had great packages that included dinner in Luques Restaurant, New Year's Day brunch or both. Everyone was treated to a nice bottle of champagne and souvenir glasses.

In the bar getting ready for the count down.

Luques Restaurant was Puttin' on the Ritz

Hope the New Year Eve was enjoyed well. Me and my friend went for a bridal show at one of the stunning New York wedding venues last month. Interior was superb and draping was done beautifully. Really liked the collection of designer wear.
