The City could buy a lot of affordable housing to give people for the more than $200 Million a year they spend on "homelessness"

I think your posting is insulting to the issue and shows a real lack of understanding. What we call "homelessness" is a combination of people that are financially struggling and lost their home, have substance abuse problems, are mentally ill, just plain people that choose to live on the streets and others that beg as their source of income.

But you still make the point...Don't give money to the people on the street, give it to affordable housing programs among other service providers.

Thank you for participating in my blog.

Hotel Boy
aka Wes TylerWes Tyler GMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15168890861381021937noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-171199040114297382.post-63002232719597664052008-05-17T09:42:00.000-07:002008-05-17T09:42:00.000-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Wes Tyler GMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15168890861381021937noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-171199040114297382.post-45583858004212270702008-05-16T19:42:00.000-07:002008-05-16T19:42:00.000-07:00Hey hotel boy, the homelessness is caused by teh l...Hey hotel boy, the homelessness is caused by teh lack of affordable housing.
